If you don't want Firefox warning you of sites that may distribute malware, uncheck the checkbox next to "Block reported attack sites". If you do wish it to provide such warnings, make sure the checkbox next to that item is checked.

Firefox uses Google's SafeBrowsing list to determine whether a site is safe (source):

“About twice per hour, Firefox downloads Google's SafeBrowsing lists to help block access to sites and downloads that are malicious or forged”

If you wish to add an exception for a site to install add-ons, click on the Exceptions button to the right of "Warn me when sites try to install add-ons." By default, addons.mozilla.org and marketplace.firefox.com are allowed to install add-ons.

Firefox allowed sites for add-ons

Note: tested on Firefox versions 34 and 35
