Comments: CDisplay is a free program for viewing comic book archives for Microsoft Windows systems. The program allows one to sequentially view JPEG, PNG, and static GIF files in a comic book archive file as if one were reading a comic. The images are stored in .cbr, .cbz, .cbt, or .cba files, which are just renamed RAR, ZIP, TAR, or ACE files. You can exit from the program by hitting the Esc key.

The developer, David Ayton, died in 2003 and the program is no longer maintained, but it runs on versions of Microsoft Windows from Windows 98 onwards.
