SMF Timezone
I noticed that the entries in an error log for a Simple Machines Forum (SMF)
forum appeared to be off by one hour. You can view the error log for a forum
by clicking on Admin then selecting Error Log. To change the
timezone for the forum, click on Admin, select Features and Options
, then scroll down to the section where you will see the following fields:
- Default time format
- Default number format
- Overall time offset
(added to the member specific
option.)
- Server timezone
From the dropdown menu to the right of the "Server timezone" field,
select the correct time zone for your server. Then scroll down to the bottom
of the page and click on the Save. button.
