Display Hidden Files and Folders and Operating System Files
To display hidden files and folders and protected operating system files
on a Windows XP system, take the following steps:
- Click on the Start button.
- Select My Computer.
- Click on Tools.
- Select Folder Options.
- Select View.
- Under Hidden files and folders, check "Show hidden files and
folders".
- To display protected operating system files as well, uncheck
"Hide protected operating system files."
- Click on OK.
You can put the settingis back to the previous settings later by following
a similar procedure.
