I was unable to view the firewall settings because many of the options under Detailed Settings were grayed out. The settings for the following components of Norton 360 were inaccessible due to being greyed out:
I tried going back to the main window and signing into the Symantec account by clicking on Sign In, but even when I signed in the options were still grayed out. So I next clicked on Help and Get Support from the main window, which started a Norton Autofix process. When that process completed, I saw "We have successfully fixed 1 item(s)."
But the firewall setting option still remained grayed out. When I logged out of the user's account and logged into the adminsitrator account and then ran the Norton 360 program, rather than choosing "Run as administrator" by right-clicking on Norton 360 from the user's account, the settings for the firewall and other options was no longer grayed out.
I was then able to click on Firewall to view the firewall rules. From the firewall Setings window, you can specify in detail how the Norton 360 firewall will handle incoming and outgoing connections for the computer on which it is installed. From that window, I clicked on Program Control and saw that the firewall was configured to allow the SNMP Service.
