I found a Microsoft Exchange 2003 server was no longer transmitting email nor was it providing access to shared calendars and contact lists for users due to the database store, which is maintained in the file
priv1.edb reaching the limit of 16GB. Unless you upgrade to
Service Pack 2, the size of this file can't grow beyond that limit and
Exchange will shut down when it reaches that size.
